What this one is for
A 13 minute timer is the length of a short studio cycling or core class, the sort you tack onto the end of a ride when you have thirteen minutes and no excuse. It is an odd number precisely because instructors build to a playlist, not to a clock.
Thirteen minutes also covers a tray of roast vegetables at high heat, or a warmup that includes the bits people skip.
Space starts and pauses. The tab title shows what is left, and a beep marks the end.

Good for
- A short cycling or core class
- Roasting vegetables at high heat
- A thorough warmup block
- Reading a chapter before bed
03
How it runs
Counts down 13 min, then beeps. Press Start, or hit Space. The digits turn green while a work block runs and grey on rest.
Sound is on by default: a rising pair for work, a falling pair for rest, a tick for the last three seconds and a three-note finish. Mute with the speaker button. The screen stays on while the timer runs and the tab title shows the time left.
Change anything in Settings under the timer. The last setup you used on this page is remembered in your browser.
Questions people ask
- Why is a class 13 minutes?
- Short classes are cut to music, so they land wherever the last track ends. Thirteen and fourteen minutes are common results.
- Will it ring if my phone screen turns off?
- The countdown stays correct because it is timestamp based. The wake lock holds the screen on while the tab is in front, and the beep plays when the tab is open or the moment you return.
- Can I change it to 15 minutes?
- Yes, edit the duration on the timer or open the 15 minute page.
- Is it free?
- Yes, free with no login and nothing to install.
