What this one is for
A 35 minute timer is half a lecture. A seventy minute class usually breaks near the middle, and thirty five minutes is about as long as anyone holds a single thread of a talk before the room needs a stretch.
Thirty five minutes also gets chicken thighs through a hot oven, covers a steady bike commute, and is a study block for people who find an hour too long and twenty five too short.
Space starts and pauses. The tab title carries the countdown and a beep lands at the end.

How it runs
Counts down 35 min, then beeps. Press Start, or hit Space. The digits turn green while a work block runs and grey on rest.
Sound is on by default: a rising pair for work, a falling pair for rest, a tick for the last three seconds and a three-note finish. Mute with the speaker button. The screen stays on while the timer runs and the tab title shows the time left.
Change anything in Settings under the timer. The last setup you used on this page is remembered in your browser.
Questions people ask
- Is 35 minutes a good study block?
- It sits between the 25 minute Pomodoro and a 50 minute block. If 25 keeps cutting you off mid-thought, try 35 with a five minute break.
- Will it ring if I leave the tab?
- The countdown is timestamp based, so the time stays correct whatever the tab is doing. The beep plays while the tab is open, or as soon as you return.
- Can I change the duration?
- Yes, edit it on the timer or use the 30 and 40 minute pages.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, after the first load it runs entirely in your browser.
