What this one is for

A 45 second timer is a circuit station. Forty five on, fifteen off is one of the most common HIIT formats because it is long enough to build real fatigue without wrecking your form.

It is also a good hold for the harder isometrics, and about as long as anyone should hold a wall sit on a first try.

Press Space to start. A beep lands at zero and the tab title counts down if you are not looking at the page.

Good for

  • Circuit training stations
  • HIIT work bouts at 45/15
  • Wall sits and isometric holds
  • Timed rounds on a bag

03

How it runs

Counts down 45 sec, then beeps. Press Start, or hit Space. The digits turn green while a work block runs and grey on rest.

Sound is on by default: a rising pair for work, a falling pair for rest, a tick for the last three seconds and a three-note finish. Mute with the speaker button. The screen stays on while the timer runs and the tab title shows the time left.

Change anything in Settings under the timer. The last setup you used on this page is remembered in your browser.

Questions people ask

Can I loop 45 on and 15 off?
Yes, the interval timer handles repeating work and rest pairs with beeps at each switch.
Will it still ring if I switch tabs?
The countdown is timestamp based so it never drifts, and the beep plays while the tab is open or the moment you come back.
Can I change the duration?
Yes, set any number of seconds, or use the 30 and 60 second pages.
Does it work offline?
Yes, after the first load it runs entirely in your browser.
