What this one is for
A 90 second timer is sprint recovery. Ninety seconds is the standard walk back between repeats, and the rest most lifting programmes give you between moderate compound sets.
It is also long enough for an emotion to pass, which is the reason the ninety second rule gets quoted so often.
Press Space to start. The tab title counts down, the screen stays awake, and it beeps at zero so you know when to go again.

How it runs
Counts down 1 min 30 sec, then beeps. Press Start, or hit Space. The digits turn green while a work block runs and grey on rest.
Sound is on by default: a rising pair for work, a falling pair for rest, a tick for the last three seconds and a three-note finish. Mute with the speaker button. The screen stays on while the timer runs and the tab title shows the time left.
Change anything in Settings under the timer. The last setup you used on this page is remembered in your browser.
Questions people ask
- How long should I rest between sets?
- Roughly 90 seconds suits moderate compound work. Heavy strength sets usually want three minutes or more, and light accessory work less.
- Will it ring if I put the phone down?
- The countdown keeps correct time from timestamps. The screen-wake lock holds the display on while the tab is in front, and the beep plays when the tab is open or as soon as you return.
- Can I repeat it automatically?
- Yes, the interval timer loops work and rest pairs so you do not restart between repeats.
- Can I change the duration?
- Yes, set any length on the timer or use the 60 second and 2 minute pages.
